“Best place we found for drinks in Berat. The extensive cocktail menu is impressive and the cocktails themselves are delicious with no skimp on measures or ingredients, despite the reasonable prices.”
The printed list covers the classics properly: Mojito, Espresso Martini, Negroni, Old Fashioned, a Zombie built on white and dark rum. Next to them sit the house drinks, Bazar, Berat and Enzos, made to recipes the bar keeps to itself.
Guests write about the Scotch Melon Sour, the gin mule and the cocktails the bartenders make to order. Most cocktails cost 550 to 700 lekë, and some can be made as mocktails. Ask the waiter.
Two things come up again and again in Bazar's reviews: the homemade raki and the shisha. Both are best taken slowly, at a table on the boulevard.
The raki is homemade, and the bar works it into drinks of its own: a Raki Sour with lemon, Adiel with lime and a special ingredient, and Kacurrel, which the menu calls the first Albanian cocktail. Guests also mention the odd free shot.
The shisha comes to your table on the terrace, which looks onto Bulevardi Republika. It is one of the best seats in Berat for people watching, from the evening walk until late at night.

“Great cocktail bar in Berat! Delicious, well-made cocktails at very reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and welcoming.”
Bazar opens at eight in the morning and closes at three at night, every day of the week. When the boulevard goes quiet, the bar keeps its lights on.
The room is lively and relaxed at the same time: teal armchairs, the glowing bar, a zigzag floor. Everyone is welcome here, and the bar is LGBTQ+ friendly.
